Quick Release Dog Collar made of Beta® BioThane®
With the Quick Release Biothane Collar from punq, you choose an exclusive dog collar that you won't find anywhere else in the Netherlands. Our own design combines a minimalist look with a smart adjustable system without a traditional buckle.
Each collar is handmade in our own workshop in the Netherlands. Not a standard import product, but a unique punq design developed for dogs that grow, move, explore, and look good doing it.
The collar consists of a round neck circumference and a straight closing strap. You can easily adjust the neck circumference with the two inverted triglides. Then slide the collar over your dog's head and close it with the Biothane® slide loop. This keeps the collar securely in place without choking.
Ideal for rapidly growing puppies, but also perfect for adult dogs that deserve comfort, safety, and style.

How it works
- Adjust the round neck circumference with the two inverted triglides.
- Slide the collar over your dog's head.
- Tighten the straight strap until the collar is snug but comfortable.
- Slide the Biothane® loop forward to close the collar.
- Attach the leash to the D-ring.

Size S
Made from 19 mm wide Biothane®. Suitable for small to medium-sized dogs.
Size M
Made from 25 mm wide Biothane®. Suitable for medium-sized dogs.

Material
Original Beta® BioThane®, a polyester webbing with a protective plastic coating. This has the look of leather but the convenience of modern material. It doesn't absorb moisture, is easy to clean, and stays looking good with daily use.
Just wipe it clean with a cloth, and your dog is ready for their next important meeting at the lamppost.

Materials + Care
Our products are made to last; with a little care, they will stay beautiful.
Biothane
Wipe off dirt with a damp cloth and mild soap. Air dry, away from direct sunlight and heat (such as stoves or heaters). Do not use a washing machine or harsh cleaning agents.
Paracord
Rinse with lukewarm water and let air dry. Avoid heat, dryers, and cleaning agents. Regularly check for wear and tear to enjoy your leash for a long time.
Hardware
Our gold-colored parts are made of brass and will develop a natural patina over time due to the copper in the product. This can be easily polished with a dry cloth.
The black coated parts are made of a strong zinc alloy. With intensive use, the coating may wear slightly over time; this is normal and does not affect the strength.

Water, sand, and mud will therefore not penetrate the material. Often, a quick rinse or wipe is enough to get the collar clean again.
Because BioThane® absorbs very little moisture, odors are less likely to linger. This is ideal when the collar is worn every day.
What is the difference between a quick-release and a regular collar?
The main difference lies in the design and use. The Quick Release collar is opened and closed with a "sliding" clasp and not with a buckle.
